As previously mentioned.. my Pal Kevin Silva is unloading some of his fine hotrod parts and stash. He simply does not need all this stuff and wants it togo to a good gear head home.
You cannot buy all listed for the price... trust me.
I am hesitant to list this.cause , being a greedy hotrod bastard...I want it.But alas...I have my hands full with all my current projects.

cam and crank gears pictured are all new.

The piston kit is new ROSS 3 5/16 bore.

The block is good:
has been hot tanked and mag checked.
Found 2 minor cracks that do not need repair!

To avoid any confusion the crankshaft included is the stock 8BA not the Merc crank.

This is great deal for someone looking to build a flathead.

FOR SALE!....1940 FORD PICK UP....

Check it out...My very good buddy Kevin Silva has his 40 Ford P/U on the block.Kevin has other pressing matters at hand and frankly too much on his plate to continue this killer project. If I did not have my 5 window on deck.I would certainly grab and gobble this great project.Tons of parts and great work already finished on this truck....
If you are interested....give Kevin a holler.
The price is $11,999 USD.
Kevin can be reached  at.......  kevinmsilva@gmail.com

I will let Kevin tell you the details......

This truck was bought as a rough but running
project with great old Ford bones.

8BA flathead, 39 top loader, banjo rear end.

Original Ford dropped axle, juice brakes.

I've been gathering select components for the last couple of years…
Unfortunately, I must liquidate. My loss your gain.

Here is a good sample, but not all of the work and parts to date.

2 radiators:
1 New aluminum, 1 gennie Ford.

New dual master cylinder and kit that bolts to the stock pedal assembly.

New front shock kit.

New exhaust system, New fuel tank.

Complete: New interior kit.

Custom made seat cover from vintage material and new "Cartouche" seat cover.
New seat frames and seat covers, headliner kit, floor mat and insulation.

Rebuilt instrument cluster.
49 ford door handles, window cranks and escutcheons.
New 40 style switches, knobs, horn push and shift knob.

All the glass, window risers etc.

47-48 Ford bumpers F & R straightened and rechromed with rechromed overriders and new bumper irons.

chromed column drop, glovebox door, emergency brake lever.

Sheet metal is really nice! NOS left f.fender, super nice r. fender. New inner fenders,
New inner fender braces.

Solid doors, really nice hood, very nice running boards.

I do have rear fenders but they are rough, all sheet metal shown has been blasted to bare metal.

The cab has had extensive work and is very nice, lots of new panels!

Bed sides are good.
Included are a new front panel, stake pocket, tailgate, and lower panel to complete sheet metal repair.

Tires have maybe 200 miles on them, wheels are stock Ford powder coated black.

Truck is rolling. Engine is back together.
Note: since last update, the metal work on the cab has been completed.
IE: windshield header, inner cab corners, door gaps, fire wall etc.

Luke Dicurcio from Austin speed shop lent his talents in finishing up the cab.

Clear Texas title.
