Swap meet treasures....

Swap meets... ugh...I love them and hate then..... I love them cause of all the very cool finds and I can make a bit of cash for projects on the go.I hate them, cause I spend the money I just made on shit I really don't need!
But I did pick up some pure Canadiana Gold....silly I know.... but I am a crow.
The Tag topper is from 46 or 47 and is a unit from Imperial Oil..... the 3 stars represent a hockey angle.
Just a cool piece.

The Water slide decal is a Red Indian Oil company piece.Late 30's I believe.

I really need a life.

The Candy Factory...Revisited.

Speaking of the Yum Yum Tree....One of my very special places is the Candy Factory.... All kinds of vintage delights, Horsepower products to rot the mind. From bellytankers, to full on Drag Wagons.... Street is neet!
I dragged my Pal Chuck Vranas up from Bean town to the Candy Factory for a full day of pure sugar automotive shenanigans.... we had fun!
Open headers, flames and burning rubber were had by all.It was a day to remember!
REALLY BIG NEWS coming soon for the Candy Factory.....

All shots owned by Chuck Vranas.......Many thanks Pal......

Texas Twilight.....

..Speaking of the Great State of Texas..... My good Buddy Flat Top Bob..... took a Twilight stroll....Somewheres on Highway 1932....
He makes me happy......

ATLAS Speed and Custom

As mentioned before... there is a killer shop in North Texas...Atlas Speed And Custom..... dedicated to keeping the vintage and traditional flame alive.
I soon hope to visit the fellas and see the inner sanctum of there working world.
Jamie sent some pics a few weeks back.and I have been so busy I have just got around to updating the Ole D and Q.
I hear thru the grapevine they are giving the business to one special Riv......
